Carolyn was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), known as Lou Gehrig's disease, in August of 2005. She passed away in January of 2007.

Coded and tested routines and programs for the Chicago Clearing House EDIBANX system. At the First Chicago Bank, coded and tested both an interface between two banks, and an interface between the new and old systems.
Designed and implemented two SWIFT Interface subsystems in TAL, and managed the second, larger project. Designed and programmed file retrieval module in C for new Workstation. Designed and programmed custom funds transfer interface and standalone online servers in TAL and C. Fixed and enhanced distribution utilities. Designed Quality Assurance systems for Internet subsystem and New Technology Project. Performed Customer Support in-house and on-site.
Designed and implemented system software in C on an IBM PC. Designed and implemented money transfer system software for TANDEM and another minicomputer.
Designed and implemented an on-line patient chart locator and deficiency system using IBM BAL and SAS.
Designed and implemented a user interface system for an automatic tester of semiconductor devices, using C on a DEC PDP 11/70.
